Booteaza si ruleaza de pe un memory stick USB ... intra direct in RAM si ocupa numai vreo 256MB ! Pe un PC vechi cu procesor P4/2Gh si 512MB RAM se vede ca se simte foarte bine.
La internet s-a conectat destul de usor cu un pic de atentie ... pt. RDS folositi "PPPOE" (atentie la user si password) si setati un firewall.

Probleme majore pot avea cei care acceseaza internetu' in mod direct fara router/firewall separat... solutia este instalarea unui firewall de ultima generatie si update la broswer. Cei interesati ma pot gasi in Deva (0722 890420)
O alta solutie radicala este migrarea la sistemul Linux ( recomand Ubuntu /Lubuntu) este super ok pentru cei care doresc in special office/internet ... si mai greu pentru gameri / proiectare cu AutoCAD (totusi se poate rula cu emulatorul "wine" un CAD2D facut de francezi care deschide 2010.dwg si este freeware :-) )

SDR/PC si avionul YR

Colegii de la Matra Systems Radiocomunicatii Ltd. din Bucuresti, au vrut sa vada si ei mai din joaca mai in serios daca ar fi putut intercepta semnalul transponderului de pe avionul YR prabusit nu demult ... pentru asta au folosit un simplu receptor (costa cca. 80RON) un laptop PC si citeva softuri adecvate scopului .. et voila ! Observati ca se vede tot ce misca si e gata localizat pe harta ... :-)
