The antenna for the test is one of the best ... a Sirio "Blue Line" 1000 ( only 1m long :-) and the "black box" isn't a transmatch , it's a Zetagi anti TVI filter 50/50 Ohm.
The transceiver I use is Avanti Grande.

The SWR is 1.2... 1.3 :1
and the results in traffic are nice :
163AU001 - Chris, 100miles W from Cardiff, 11:55cfr/.520usb, FT100ZD 35...40w out, 4el.Yagi, my progressive is 76 ; 26LV73 - Rob, SW of UK, 12:00cfr/.565usb, IC706Mark1 ;
So that, my answer is YES ! An auto CB radio antenna can be use indoor for local and DX radio contacts.
